¡Baila! is created to bring Latin Dance to a wide range of individuals and groups. The focus is on dancing as a relaxing social activity and as an opportunity for healthy exercise and a learning experience that you can carry on with you and share forever. It's time for fun without the anxiety many people feel in classes that emphasize performance and proficiency. Traditional Latin dance can , and should, be accessible to a diverse audience. The differences that divide people - age, sexuality, ethnicity, and ability - fall away when two people take a walk to the music.
The evening will begin at 4pm with Cocktails on The Terrace which looks out onto a stunning mountain view. A local winery and brewery with knowledgable, passionate staff will be offering tastings and beverages available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. The rest of the night is packed full of activities including both queer and straight dance performances by world renowned performers, professional Salsa and Batchata dance lessons, an Adult Piñata, and a Latin-American dinner. Whether you come solo or with a partner, this workshop is great opportunity to learn and refine your social dance skills in a fun, friendly, and exciting environment.
